Satoshi shares how his childhood passion for space has led him to a career conducting research with scientists, entrepreneurs and astronauts on International Space Station. And our chat is interspersed with examples of the work of scientists on the International Space Station seeking to find cures or new ways of managing illnesses and disease on earth. In this module I ask the students to come up with a really bold and innovative space business idea which must address one of the UN Sustainable Development Goals. They then have to create a virtual business office in a Frame (Metaverse), they also have to create a website, branding, business plan, and prototypes using AI. They only have 8 days in total with me and they must complete the project on day 6 to pitch on day 7. This is a fast paced module, exploring the potential for young entrepreneurs in the UK commercial space sector.
