To mark this milestone, we are hosting a dedicated workshop on\u00a0<\/span><strong class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">28 January<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">\u00a0to share our progress, methodologies, and final results with the aviation and ATM community.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">We invite all interested stakeholders to join us\u2014either in person at\u00a0<\/span><strong class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">CRIDA in Madrid<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">\u00a0or virtually via our online platform.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4 class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><strong class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">What to Expect<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">This workshop will provide a comprehensive overview of the SMARTS concept, offering deep dives into the technical advancements achieved during the project. Through our research and trials, we have validated that:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"ng-star-inserted\">\n<li class=\"ng-star-inserted\">\n<p class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><strong class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">Tools like PUZZLE DCB and R-NEST<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">\u00a0are technically feasible and operationally valuable.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"ng-star-inserted\">\n<p class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><strong class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">Integrated SMARTS models<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">\u2014from flow clustering to adaptive airspace structuring\u2014can better align traffic patterns with airspace design.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"ng-star-inserted\">\n<p class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><strong class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">Operational benefits<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">\u00a0include improved demand\u2013capacity balancing, greater cost efficiency, reduced sector overloads, and more punctual, predictable operations.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4 class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><strong class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">Registration<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p class=\"ng-star-inserted\"><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">Registration is mandatory for all participants.
