SeaSights is a British Academy funded project led by Dr Celine Germond-Duret with research assistance from Idreas Khandy (both Lancaster University) that investigates young people’s views of the coastal and marine environment in the Northwest of England. It aims at giving young people voice and visibility into coastal and marine decision making. This project combines and compares traditional and innovative methods (survey and photography) to support young people to play an active role in shaping their environments and allowing them to drive local development ambitions.
