Demystifying REF: what you need to know and why

In collaboration with Research Enterprise Services (RES) and Organisation and Educational Development (OED), the RSA are delighted to announce another great training opportunity for researchers.

This two-hour workshop “Demystifying REF: what you need to know and why” has been designed for research active staff who are new(ish) to the Research Excellence Framework (REF) or uncertain about their REF-able status. During the workshop, participants will hear about REF2021, they will have a chance to explore their own questions and expectations in detail, and hear from two prominent Professors offering different perspectives on what the REF might mean for you.

This session aims to provide information about REF, how research staff contribute to the current REF agenda, and how to stay ahead of the game by improving the visibility of your research profile.
