Our partner Elsevier is launching a \u201cmicro grants\u201d scheme to support research and science at Lancaster. They will fund up to \u00a3500 for any sort of event which involves more the 25 researchers (staff\/students). Elsevier want to do a short presentation at the start of your event but otherwise you are free to run anything you want. Shonah Ion<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) will be commencing in the Physics Building and IsoLab from Monday 9th September. This year all IT equipment is due for testing as they are on a three-year cycle.<\/p>\n The PAT tester will be calling on you soon in both offices and laboratories.
