Andrew Goddard<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Fellow runners,<\/p>\n To quote Wikipedia:\u00a0The significance given to the summer solstice has varied among cultures,\u00a0but most recognize the event in some way with holidays, festivals, and rituals\u00a0around that time with themes of religion or fertility.<\/p>\n Here at Lancaster University we are celebrating it with the\u00a0 42nd\u00a0annual Physics Relay which will take place this year on Friday 21st June.\u00a0Rules unchanged since the year dot.\u00a0 For more information and to enter a team go to\u00a0 http:\/\/www.hep.lancs.ac.uk\/relay\/2019\/<\/a>. Same route as last few years starting from the sports centre and using the woodland walk.<\/p>\n This annual fun run is open to teams of four. The course consists of four unequal length legs making up\u00a0 a circuit of campus. It is open to all. There are four (alcoholic) prizes on offer, Mens, Womens, Mixed and “Age Corrected”.
