Dr Paula Burkinshaw, an expert on diversity in leadership, will deliver a keynote on \u201cWhere are the women? Challenging Higher Education leadership\u201d, which will be followed by opportunities for discussion and networking. Lunch and refreshments provided. Mol<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sergey Kafanov <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Recording Training<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>A recommendation from the safety audit was for managers to record all training undertaken by their staff once completed. \u00a0For University run training this can be an automatic process with training appearing on the core HR portal once completed, but any additional or outside training should also be recorded. As line managers are currently unable to directly enter training received by their staff onto the core HR profile, please can you ask HR to log any additional training your staff receive, there for you.<br \/>\nI have the contact details of someone in HR who can enter this information for us, please contact me if this is required.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Shonah Ion<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Departmental safety handbook<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The new Departmental safety handbook is now available on the Departments web page About us \u2013 Information \u2013 Staff ~ safety.
