Stamps are priced at 30p each and the last collection date in the Department will be the Thursday14th December.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Stephen Holt<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Staff and Students Can Shop at Discount With Farnell Onecall<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Any member of the university can shop at farnell onecall ( including cpc ) and get the same prices as quoted on the university ordering system.<br \/>\nYou need to spend 20 pounds, for free delivery . The account number is 902381 .<\/p>\n<p><strong>Steve Holden<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Interview Days<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Just a reminder we have our next interview day today, Wednesday 29th November, the day starts at 10:00 and finishes around 15:45. We will be touring the building between 11-12:30 and will be using C36 for most of the day apart 11-13:00. Keys for labs will only be issued to named persons with the written permission from the responsible person for that lab \u2013 see the appendix in the back of the safety handbook for areas of responsibility. If you think there is an error in the list please let me know.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Shonah Ion<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Reporting near misses<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Can I remind everyone to report any near misses as well as actual accidents via the accident reporting form on the University safety web pages. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lancaster.ac.uk\/depts\/safety\/index.html\">http:\/\/www.lancaster.ac.uk\/depts\/safety\/index.html<\/a> By reporting a near miss \u2013 that is an incident that could have resulted in an accident \u2013 we can take action to prevent an accident occurring.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Shonah Ion<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Physics exit doors<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Emergency exit doors are for exactly that, emergencies. They have in the past been left open, as they are not self-closing, leaving the building insecure overnight.
