Bin usage

Can I remind all users that the sanitary bins in the toilets are not for use with general rubbish. We are getting complaints from Facilities staff that these bins are getting full of empty drinks bottle, hand wipes, blue roll, general tissues etc. meaning they can not then be used for their intended purpose of the disposal of feminine hygiene products. General rubbish goes in the bins in the corridors and kitchens.

Work at Hazelrigg field station

Does anyone have any equipment or data coming from Hazelrigg field station? There is going to be some work ongoing there which may causes some issues.

Security during school holidays

During the school holidays there is often an increase in the reports of vandalism, break ins, thefts and anti-social behaviour on campus.
Please be conscious of this and remember to lock up labs and offices when unattended and take care of your valuables.
If you have any concerns about anyone or behaviours you see on campus and don’t want to challenge this yourself, please report it to the Security team on 01524 594541
