Lancaster’s RSA: Workshop and Birthday BBQ invite

Please find below the following second (and final) announcement for the RSA’s workshop and birthday celebration. Remember to RSVP by 12th June to reserve your place. The workshop should be informative, count towards your career development training, and has a free lunch – including birthday cake!

Lancaster’s Research Staff Association: From conference attendee to leader
11am-1pm 19th June 2018
Lancaster House Hotel (near Pendle College)

We welcome you to join Lancaster’s Research Staff Association (RSA) for an informative workshop on developing your conference profile. Pick up tips and advice from an expert panel about how they transitioned from conference attendee to a conference leader. Whether you’re planning on running your own workshop or conference soon, or are just interested in learning more about importance of making the transition to research leader – this workshop is for you! Although this workshop is aimed at researchers wanting to develop their conference profile, all researchers (new and experienced) are more than welcome to attend.

Following the workshop there will be ample time for networking over a free RSA BBQ lunch to celebrate the RSA’s fourth birthday. Cake included!

Places are limited so to secure yours please RSVP to rsa@lancaster.ac.uk by 12th June 2018 with your name and research group/department.

We hope to see you there!
