Day trip to Bakewell & Chatsworth House

All Graduate College day trips are open to all Lancaster University students, staff, and their guests.
Bakewell is known for its rural beauty, range of country shops and crafts, but most of all for the world famous Bakewell tart (pudding). Trip includes entry to Chatsworth House and gardens.

Pick up from White Cross (bus stop, opposite the Infirmary on South Road) at 6.45am.

Pick up from Pendle Avenue (on campus) at 7am.
07:00-09:15
Travel to Bakewell (Peak District) – journey time approximately 2 hours 10 minutes
18:00-20:15
Return to Lancaster
