{"id":119,"date":"2022-11-18T12:14:47","date_gmt":"2022-11-18T12:14:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wp.lancs.ac.uk\/otb3-2023\/?page_id=119"},"modified":"2023-02-16T11:40:26","modified_gmt":"2023-02-16T11:40:26","slug":"information","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/wp.lancs.ac.uk\/otb3-2023\/information\/","title":{"rendered":"Information"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In April 2017 close to 100 scholars from the social sciences and the humanities from all over the world met for the first time at Lund University to discuss waste, culture and society during the <a href=\"https:\/\/portal.research.lu.se\/en\/activities\/opening-the-bin\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Opening the bin conference<\/a> in Helsingborg. The second conference <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gu.se\/en\/school-business-economics-law\/business-administration\/re-opening-the-bin-waste-economy-culture-and-society\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Re-open the Bin<\/a> was held online in May 2021, hosted by the University of Gothenburg, Sweden and attracted over 100 participants online. Both conferences were organized by a constellation of waste researchers.
