In keeping with the wider themes of the Morecambe Milieux, Aqueous Futures conference and symposium, the performance shares and explores different ways of knowing and engaging with our landscape and the forces shaping it.<\/p>\n<p>River Tours: The Lune was first commissioned and produced by Lancaster Arts in 2022 and shown by the river in collaboration with the renowned theatre company, Stan\u2019s Cafe (based in Birmingham).\u00a0 The project sits in the context of Stan\u2019s Cafe\u2019s ongoing International River Tours project, which will develop further river stories and textiles as it tours around the world.\u00a0 Commissioned local artists include Orla Cottingham (performer) Claire Dean (writer) and The Sewing Caf\u00e9 Lancaster (textile artists and makers).
