10.00 – 10.50: Interactive mapping of keywords and main themes emerging from the exhibition. Initial discussion.
10.50 – 11.20: Provocations from exhibiting artists addressing the value of art and design in generating knowledge about coastal dynamics (Group 1)
11.20 – 11.40 : Coffee Break
10.40 – 12.10: Provocations from exhibiting artists addressing the value of art and design in generating knowledge about coastal dynamics (Group 2)
12.10 – 12.45: Q&A + Open discussion
12.45 – 13.30: Lunch
13.30 – 13.40: Introduction to the afternoon
13.40 – 14.30: Two presentations on ways to embed art in policymaking (Stephen Bennett, PolicyLab) and cross-disciplinary collaborations between design researchers and local councils (Lara Salinas, University of the Arts, London). This session will include a Q&A.
14.30 – 15.50: Speculative design session | prototyping future possibilities for new approaches and collaborations.
15.50 – 16.00: Final remarks and end of the symposium.
