The Centre for Mobilities Research (CEMORE) at Lancaster University
Global Link is a development education centre in Lancaster which uses participatory, critical thinking and arts methodologies to explore global issues relating to human rights, sustainability, conflict resolution, diversity, social justice, global interdependence and global citizenship. Since 2016, we have also been the leading voluntary sector organisation providing casework and integration support to asylum seekers and refugees, and organising community cohesion events such as Refugee Week. Last year, for example, we enabled 280 asylum seekers and refugees to access services, including education and employment, as well as our weekly Lunch Drop in and other events.
