A history of clinical workforce policies in the NHS, 1948-1997\u2019<\/em> at the <a href=\"https:\/\/hppnuk.wordpress.com\/category\/welcome\/\">Health Policy and Politics Network Annual Conference<\/a>, Institute for Health Policy and Organisation, University of Manchester.\u00a0This was written up as one of the <a href=\"https:\/\/hppnuk.wordpress.com\/2024\/06\/07\/highlights-from-the-hppn-2024-spring-event\/\">conference highlights<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Second, he presented \u2018<em>Out of step?
