A Manifesto For Medical Training in the Edgelands
In December 2025, we conducted a workshop with stakeholders in medical education and training at the 6th Developing Excellence in Medical Education Conference (DEMEC). From discussion and a rapid priority-setting exercise, we co-created a series of recommendations for training in underdoctored areas – the manifesto for the edgelands.

Future of the Medical Workforce Roundtable
On 20th October 2025 the Mapping Doctors team hosted a roundtable discussion on the Future of the Medical Workforce. We were delighted to welcome stakeholders from the General Medical Council, Royal Colleges, Trainee Associations, and postgraduate deaneries.
