The Mapping Doctors team were delighted to join one of the biggest annual conferences in medical and health education, the International Association for Health Professions Education (AMEE) 2025 in Barcelona. The conference was a packed programme of workshops, plenaries, seminars and sessions showcasing innovative e-posters, a format used to share more than just a traditional academic poster. We presented some of our qualitative findings looking at the stories told by doctors about their careers through a lens of professionalism and widening access to medical careers. Over 4000 people from all over the world attended, and the conference was a brilliant learning opportunity as well as a chance to share our work with an international audience.
