Cliff Shelton and Liz Brewster from the Mapping Doctors team presented a workshop at this week’s NHS England East Midlands Educators conference, sharing and discussing our MapDoc findings and again reflecting with medical students and educators on what it means to work in the edgelands. We had some fantastic chats about how working in smaller hospitals can have an advantage in early training, and thought about how to overcome some of the challenges in being in an underserved area.
