We were delighted to be invited to the North West Rheumatology Club winter meeting to share our research findings. Speaking with different specialties – including resident doctors, SAS and LED colleagues, and consultant specialists – is a great way to think about how we can all affect the future of the medical workforce in a positive way. It was great to get people to think about their own journey to the specialty, as well as how they might support others to enjoy being a specialist who is also a generalist, and works across multiple teams.
