My research interests lie in marine ecology, specially seagrass diversity and ecophysiology. My PhD project takes a holistic approach to understanding seagrass diversity, as it relates to physiology, anatomy, and ecology across scales. Despite the fact that seagrass meadows support millions of people and have intrinsic value globally via their ecosystem services, the processes that underpin their contribution have been restricted and overlooked. I am investigating physiology, ecology and biogeography of seagrasses in order to inform restoration and conservation efforts of these marine angiosperms.<\/span><\/p>\n
