About the Symposium<\/p>\n

1st Call for Papers<\/h2>\n

The Department of Accounting and Finance at Lancaster University is delighted to announce that the 1st Lancaster Accounting Research and Policy Symposium<\/strong> will be held on 24 April 2026 (Friday)<\/strong>, at the Lancaster Suite<\/a> in the historic Lancaster Castle<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The symposium will bring together leading researchers, accounting professionals and policymakers to discuss contemporary issues in accounting research and their implications for policy making.<\/p>\n

We invite the submission of papers on all topics of accounting that are relevant to accounting standard setters and other policy makers<\/strong>. Paper selection will be based on novelty and contribution<\/strong> to the accounting literature and policy making. Submitted papers must not have been previously published.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Attendance at the symposium does not attract a registration fee but is limited by room capacity. Participants are expected to cover their own travel costs.<\/p>\n
