The Jukebox project aimed to collect, preserve and make accessible the stories of those who experienced the impact of the British Jukebox on the youth culture of the north west seaside towns of Blackpool, Lytham St Annes and Morecambe.
This took the form of an oral history project, managed by Lancaster University Library, and a series of mapping events to create a map of coffee bars in Blackpool.
The resources collected during the project have been arranged into the following sections:
