Funders
Thanks to National Lottery players, the Jukebox: the teenage revolution project was funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund. The project received £50,904 from the Heritage Fund to carry out the engagement activities and fund collection of memories presented on this site.
Further funding was also awarded by Arts Council England to support the artists commissions associated with the project. The Arts Council awarded the project £37,000 to commission artists to produce art works which responded to the memories collected during the project. Further funding was also received from Garfield Weston Foundation and the Granada Foundation.
The project would also like to thank the Alumni and Friends of Lancaster University for providing funding to purchase additional audio recording equipment and to support oral history training for members of the Project Team.
Thank you
