Carsten joined Quoniam in 2023 after nine years as a research analyst at Invesco Quantitative Strategies, where he was also a member of the Global Management Team and the Research Coordination Committee. Carsten holds a master\u2019s degree in finance from the Frankfurt School of Finance &amp; Management and a bachelor\u2019s degree in economics from the University of Erfurt.<\/p>\n<p class=\"xmsonormal\">Being a Research Fellow at the Hamburg Financial Research Center, Carsten constantly bridges theory and practice to identify and manage salient drivers of capital market returns using quantitative techniques. He is a frequent speaker at academic and industry conferences and has published in academic and practitioner journals alike, including the <i>Financial Analysts Journal<\/i>, the <i>Journal of Portfolio Management<\/i>\u00a0and the <i>Journal of Fixed Income<\/i>.
