Special Category Prizes<\/h1>\n

There will be five Special Category Prizes. The first Special Category Prize will awarded to the highest ranked submission from a school. (For this purpose, a school-based submission means an entry submitted by an adult using a school email address on behalf of pupils\/students in a school or comparable supervised educational setting. School is defined in accordance with the Education Act 1996<\/a>.) Yes, it is extremely possible for a school to win both a Highest Ranked Prize and <\/em>a Special Category Prize!<\/p>\n

The remaining Special Category Prizes will be awarded to four notable submissions<\/strong> that did not score highly enough overall to receive a Highest Ranked Prize, but that are otherwise worthy of recognition in some way. As this suggests, these four prizes are not set, but will emerge during judging. The prizes are as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

How will I know if I’ve won?<\/h1>\n

We’ll use the email address you provided during submission to contact you, so please make sure it’s one we can reach you on<\/strong>. We’ll also publish Display Names and associated rankings on The Scoreboard<\/a>. We’ll expend a reasonable amount of time and effort trying to\u00a0 contact winners and dispatch prizes, but any prizes that remain unclaimed by 31st Dec 2026 will be reused for future events.<\/p>\n

Can I spend Amazon.co.uk vouchers if I live in another country?<\/h1>\n

Amazon vouchers will be issued as Amazon.co.uk digital vouchers sent by email. Amazon.co.uk states that its Gift Cards may only be redeemed toward eligible products on www.amazon.co.uk<\/a> or other Amazon stores designated by Amazon<\/a>. If you’re an international winner, you should assume that Amazon.co.uk digital vouchers will need to be redeemed and spent through the UK Amazon website.<\/p>\n

What if I don’t want to give you my postal address?<\/h1>\n

We appreciate that some people might wish to play as anonymously as possible, and may therefore be reluctant to provide a postal address. When you submit, you have the chance to tick whether you would like to decline any physical prize you may win. We will of course still email your voucher to you if you’ve won one.<\/p>\n

What about certificates?<\/h1>\n

Every submission will receive a digital certificate that includes your Display Name.<\/p>\n
