Arianna Dagnino’s new article, “<\/strong>Urban Caravanserais, Translational Practices and Transcultural Commons in the Age of Global Mobility”<\/strong>, has just been published by Skepsi and is available for download here<\/a>. <\/span><\/p>\n

Arianna holds an M.A. in Modern Foreign Languages and Literatures\u00a0 from l\u2019Universit\u00e0 degli Studi di Genova and a Ph.D. in Comparative Literature and Sociology (within the Italian Program) from the University of South Australia. She is the recipient of a \u00a0SSHRC postdoctoral fellowship\u00a0<\/a>\u00a0(2017-2019) to conduct research on self-translation and transcultural practices at the\u00a0University of Ottawa (School of Translation and Interpretation)<\/a>. She is also a creative writer and the author of several books on the socio-cultural impact of globalization, increased mobility, and digital technologies. Among them,\u00a0I nuovi nomadi<\/em><\/a>\u00a0(New Nomads; Castelvecchi, 1996),\u00a0Uoma<\/a>\u00a0(WoMan\/Machine, Mursia 2000) and\u00a0Transcultural Writers\u00a0and Novels in the Age of Global Mobility<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>(Purdue University Press, 2015).\u00a0She is the author of the transcultural novels\u00a0The Afrikaner\u00a0<\/em><\/a>(Guernica Editions, 2019),\u00a0Fossili\u00a0<\/em><\/a>(Fazi Editore, 2010) \u00a0and of the creative nonfiction on the birth of the Internet\u00a0Jesus Christ Cyberstar<\/em>\u00a0(IPOC, 2009)<\/a>, freely inspired by the 1970 Broadway\u2019s first rock opera\u00a0Jesus Christ Superstar<\/em>.\u00a0More about Arianna Dagnino and her work>><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n
