Takes a qualitative approach and samples episodes from 20 different cartoons and looks at five major themes these characters represent. As well as discussing the language used around gender non-conforming people in children\u2019s contexts, it looks at language in power and references Fairclough\u2019s 2003 study on analysing discourse. It would be beneficial as a reference point for a variety of Genderqueer animated characters, with the beginnings of some useful linguistic analysis.<\/p>\n<p>Vogt, O.
