We are delighted that you can join us for this year’s FoFI conference, which will take place at Lancaster University Management School.<\/a><\/p>\n

Registration will take place from 08:<\/strong>30 hrs<\/strong> on Wednesday, 15th<\/sup> April and will end on Friday, 17th<\/sup> April at 14:30\u00a0hrs. <\/strong><\/p>\n

If you are presenting at the conference, please be aware of your allocated time slot. All papers are allocated 30 mins. 25 mins presentation and 5 mins for Q&A. Please make sure you are aware of the room you are presenting in and that your presentation is uploaded in plenty of time of the session starting. Your presentations should be brought with you on a pen drive. If you do not have a pen drive, please email your presentation to FoFI Conference<\/a><\/u> by no later than 12:00 hrs (UK time) on Monday, 13th<\/sup> April<\/strong> and we will upload it on your behalf. Our five Keynotes sessions are 1-hour sessions. The full conference programme can be found here<\/a>.<\/a><\/p>\n

Poster session will be during the lunchtime period on each day of the conference. Please refer to the programme<\/a> f<\/a>or your slot. If you would like to have your poster printed locally, you can do so via our Design, Photography & Print Unit<\/a>.<\/a> Please refer to their website<\/a>.<\/a> Poster should be no bigger than A1 size and you will need to collect your poster upon arrival from Creative Studios, Lancaster Square – Room number A008, County Main, Lancaster, LA1 4YD (on campus). We will supply material for poster fixing and the support team will happily fix your poster on a poster board ahead of your session.<\/p>\n

Please allow time to familiarise yourself with the locations of all sessions and time to arrive. All sessions will take place in the Management School. If you are not sure, please do ask! There will be plenty Conference Team Members around.<\/p>\n

We will be hosting a Drinks and Canape Reception on the evening of Wednesday, 15<\/strong>th<\/sup> April <\/strong>at \u00a0<\/a>The Ashton Memorial<\/a>,<\/a> Lancaster. The venue is a short ride away (10\/15 mins) and transport will be provided to take you and bring you back to campus, however, you may wish to stay in the city centre for dinner or an explore the city and our transport can drop you off in the City Centre after the Drinks Reception. If you decide to do this, you will need to make your own way back to your accommodation. Coaches will leave from outside of the Management School at 18:15 hrs prompt<\/u> <\/strong>please be there 5 minutes prior to departure. We will return at 20:30 hrs.<\/p>\n

Our Conference Dinner, which takes place at 18:30 hrs at the Ashton Hall, Lancaster<\/a> on the evening of Thursday, 16<\/strong>th<\/sup> April.<\/strong> The venue is a short ride away (10\/15 mins) and coaches will be provided to take you and bring you back to campus with one drop off stop in the Scotforth area. Coaches will leave from outside of the Management School at 18:00 hrs prompt<\/u>! <\/strong>Please be there 5 minutes prior to departure.\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nNo direct trains will run between Preston and Lancaster from April 11\u201320, 2026, due to major West Coast Main Line engineering works. A replacement bus service will be provided. Please allow additional travel time to your plans.<\/p>\n
