Magnus Dahlquist, Stockholm School of Economics
Magnus Dahlquist is the Peter Wallenberg Professor of Finance at the Stockholm School of Economics (SSE). Magnus is also a Research Fellow with the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR), London, and with the Network for Studies on Pensions, Aging and Retirement (NETSPAR) in the Netherlands.
Magnus’ research interests lie in asset management, asset pricing, and international finance. His current research focuses on (i) the investment behavior of individuals and institutions, and the design of pension plans, (ii) trading strategies in the bond and currency markets and their relation to fundamentals, and (iii) performance evaluation and practical problems related to portfolio selection.
Magnus has been an advisor to several financial institutions as well as government authorities, including the National Debt Office, the Swedish Pensions Agency, and the Swedish Central Bank. He currently serves as academic advisor to Inquire Europe. Other activities include serving on the investment committees of Apoteket AB’s Pension Fund, the Church of Sweden, and the Nobel Foundation, and being a board member of “Trygg-Stiftelsen” which manages the assets of the pension fund SEB Gamla Liv. In the past he has been on the boards of a mutual fund and a hedge fund. Recently, he reviewed the active management of the Government Pension Fund Global, the sovereign wealth fund of Norway.

Marcin Kacperczyk, Imperial College London
Marcin Kacperczyk is a Professor of Finance at Imperial College London with research interests in the areas of sustainable investments, climate finance, information economics, financial intermediation, and financial stability. He is a Research Associate at the Center for Economic Policy Research and the managing editor of the Review of Finance. Marcin’s work has been widely covered by media, such as CNN, CNBC, Bloomberg, WSJ, FT, NYT, Business Week, U.S. News, and Washington Post. He is a past holder of the European Research Council research grant and former President of the European Finance Association.
Laurens Swinkels, Erasmus University and Robeco
Laurens is an Associate Professor of Finance at Erasmus University in Rotterdam and Executive Director and Head of Quant Strategy at Robeco’s Sustainable Multi-Asset Strategies team.
His areas of expertise include allocation research and empirical asset pricing. He teaches Finance courses and has published his academic work in peer-reviewed journals such as Journal of Financial Economics.
Prior to re-joining Robeco in 2016, he was a Researcher at Norges Bank Investment Management.
He was a Researcher at Robeco from 2004 to 2012 and at PensionFactory and APG Asset Management from 1999 to 2004. Laurens is member of the Research Committee of Inquire Europe.
Laurens holds a PhD in Finance and a Master’s in Econometrics from Tilburg University in the Netherlands.
Scott Wolle, Invesco
Scott Wolle is Head of Multi-Asset Strategies (MAS) at Invesco as well as CIO and Sr. Portfolio Manager for Invesco’s Global Asset Allocation (GAA) team, which invests in stock, bond and commodity markets worldwide. In his role as head of MAS, Scott has responsibility for factor-based equities, fixed income and commodities, as well as systematic multi-asset portfolios and solutions. He also plays a central role in creating alignment across all the teams at the firm who offer factor-based strategies. As CIO and Sr. Portfolio Manager for GAA, Scott has responsibility for the strategies managed by the team, including risk parity, global macro, multi-asset income, commodity and equity income strategies.
Scott joined Invesco in 1999 as an analyst and portfolio manager and became a member of the GAA team in 2001. He assumed his role as CIO in 2005 and head of systematic and factor investing in 2019. He has been featured in Barron’s and quoted in multiple publications, including the Financial Times and The Wall Street Journal. He began his investment management career in 1991 with Bank of America.
Scott earned a BS degree, magna cum laude, in finance from Virginia Tech and an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University, with the distinction of Fuqua Scholar. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) charterholder.
