One way is to use interactive tools and games!<\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">If you are a student, teacher, emergency planner\/responder or you are involved in developing policy you will find these resources open up new conversations and pathways to action.<\/span><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_1884\" style=\"width: 160px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1884\" class=\"wpa-warning wpa-suspicious-alt size-thumbnail wp-image-1884\" src=\"http:\/\/wp.lancs.ac.uk\/floodarchive\/files\/2024\/02\/Fortune-teller-150x150.png\" alt=\"Picture of flat fortune teller showing risks, how to be ready, respond and recover from flooding\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" data-warning=\"Suspicious alt text\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-1884\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Are you ready to respond to flooding?<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">The<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/wp.lancs.ac.uk\/floodarchive\/reimagining-rivers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Reimagining Rivers<\/a><\/strong> project explored the science of river flooding, flood risk and ideas for community resilience building. The young people involved in the project helped to develop two activities\/resources that promote flood preparedness: Flooding Mucky Dip! and a flooding fortune teller.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_1786\" style=\"width: 160px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1786\" class=\"size-thumbnail wp-image-1786\" src=\"http:\/\/wp.lancs.ac.uk\/floodarchive\/files\/2020\/09\/Promo3-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"decorative\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-1786\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-family: helvetica\">How will you &#8216;Help Callum&#8217;?<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">The<a href=\"https:\/\/wp.lancs.ac.uk\/floodarchive\/flood-stories\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b> Flood Stories <\/b><\/a>360 virtual reality videos invite viewers to experience flooding and the difficult road to recovery from the perspective of young people and their families, promoting flood awareness among adults and children.
