We are delighted that you can join us this year for our 2nd<\/sup> FFMM conference, which will be hosted by Lancaster University Management School.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The conference will be held in the Management School (LUMS), which is situated a 2-minute walk away from Lancaster House Hotel, where many of you are staying.<\/p>\n

Registration will take place on B Floor of the West Pavilion. As you enter LUMS from the front, turn immediately left and up the stairs to B Floor. A Registration desk will be there. Registration is from 09:00 hrs<\/strong> on Thursday,11th<\/sup> September and closes on Friday, 12th<\/sup> September 15:45 hrs.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Presenters are allocated a 30-minutes slot with a 20-25-minute presentation time. This will be followed by a 5\u201310 minutes general discussion. Please make sure you are aware of the location of the room you are presenting in and that your presentation is uploaded in plenty of time. Your presentation should be brought with you on a pen drive. If you do not have a pen drive, please email your presentation to the conference EMP@lancaster.ac.uk<\/a> <\/strong>by no later than 12:00 hrs (UK time) <\/strong>on Tuesday, 9th<\/sup> September <\/strong>and we will upload it on your behalf. PhD Students will be on hand to assist with uploading your presentation. Speakers and session chairs should meet in the lecture theatre at least 5 minutes before their session.<\/p>\n

Our Keynote session is a 1.5-hour session and the title is \u201cSocial Capital and Trust\u201d<\/em>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Conference Dinner takes place at 18:30 hrs at the Toll House Inn Lancaster on the evening of Thursday, 12th<\/sup> September.<\/strong> A coach will leave at 18:00 hrs prompt<\/strong> for the restaurant and return to campus at 21:00 hrs.<\/p>\n

If you are travelling by train, the train station is Lancaster. A taxi to campus will cost around \u00a310-12 and takes approximately 10-15 mins depending on traffic. If you prefer to walk it is 6.5 kms. Tickets can be bought via Trainline.<\/a><\/p>\n

Please ensure that you pay for your parking. Parking on campus is not free. Here is the link<\/strong><\/a> to the closest visitor parking, which is directly opposite the Management School. Guests at Lancaster House Hotel can leave their cars in the hotel car park, but please make sure you have registered your registration number on entry to the hotel.<\/p>\n
