I developed knowledge in government legislation and housing laws and skills in research techniques, how to construct formal letters and produce persuasive flyers.<\/p>\n<p>My favourite aspect of the internship was that every task was different and built upon previous tasks. I enjoyed that my manager always believed I was capable of doing more than an intern was supposed to.<\/p>\n<p>Since finishing my internship I worked in Housing for Wigan Council and I am now at Lichfield District Council as a Housing Options Officer, because of that internship I fell in love with housing policy and the impacts of Section 21 evictions.
