Dr Xiandong Ma

Dr. Ma is a Reader in power and energy systems at Lancaster University. His research interests include intelligent condition monitoring and fault diagnosis of the renewable energy-power systems, condition-based operations and maintenance, modelling, optimization and control of smart/micro grids, power conversion, renewable energy integration, and AI technologies and digital twin solutions. He is a Chartered Engineer (C.Eng.) and a Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (FIET). He has been ranked in the world’s top 2% scientists in terms of the citation impact of published work released by Stanford University.

Prof Neeraj Suri

Prof Neeraj Suri

Dr. Suri is a leading expert in cybersecurity and dependable systems, holding the Distinguished Professorship and Chair in Cybersecurity at Lancaster University (UK) and Leipzig (Germany). He co-directed Lancaster’s Security Institute from 2019 to 2024 and serves as an adjunct professor at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Previously, he held prominent positions, including the Chair Professorship on Dependable Systems at TU Darmstadt and visiting roles at institutions such as Microsoft Research, the University of Texas at Austin, and Technion.

Dr Fatemeh Nasr Esfahani

Fatemeh Nasr Esfahani is a postdoctoral researcher at Lancaster University, focusing on autonomous power systems, artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and cyber-physical power systems (CPPS). She brings expertise in power electronics and its applications, such as wireless power transfer (WPT), electric vehicles (EVs), and renewable energy integration.
