To offer new insights into the linguistic experience of students in EMI in\u00a0higher education, <strong>our project focuses on creating and analysing a large database of reading and writing from\u00a0 students at eight universities in Austria, China, Thailand, Italy and the UK.<\/strong> <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">The corpus can be used to conduct large-scale quantitative analysis to describe patterns in EMI language use across different academic disciplines, providing an empirical basis for research-informed educational policies that seek to address students\u2019 linguistic needs in this educational context.
