In this episode, we chat with Rayhana Gajaria, who is a third year Accounting & Management student at Lancaster University.<\/span><\/div>\n

Rayhana went to an all girls school and found encouragement from a teacher who gave her great advice and inspiration to apply for an accounting degree without a maths A-level. She found the decision to choose Lancaster University an easy one when she found that they gave a lot of flexibility in the entry requirements. <\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Sayjda highlights the Dean’s award that Rayhana received for her role in encouraging hundreds of students who would be experiencing online exams. She gave fantastic insights into her first year experience of University during the pandemic that both staff and students found useful. We also touch on the culture of Lancaster campus and how diverse the environment is, with a wide range of shops and restaurants from a different cultures being available.<\/span><\/div>\n

She offers great advice for our listeners who may be young women of faith, ‘draw strength from your faith’ and explains how she manages to fit in her studies around her faith. <\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Rayhana is hoping to receive a first class honours degree and is looking to find a job closer to her home in Blackburn. <\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
