During this weeks episode, presenters Dr Sayjda Talib and Eleanor Dove will be discussing application processes, writing personal statements and thinking about CVs. Joining them to discuss applying to university is Laura Shergold, an Undergraduate Admissions Officer.
Laura Shergold is an Undergraduate Admission Officer at Lancaster University. Laura was awarded a BA and MA at Lancaster University in English Language and Language Studies before working with young people in the U.S.A and then working in the Admission Office and International College at Brunel University London. As an Admissions Officer she particularly enjoys researching about different education systems for international qualifications and learning about the different educational opportunities across the world.
She is also a College Advisor, meaning that she gets to support students who might be struggling at university and signpost them to different services.
