Accepted tutorial presenters will receive a registration fee waiver.<\/p><h4><strong>Topics of Interest<\/strong><\/h4><p>We welcome proposals on a broad range of topics, including (but not limited to):<\/p><ul><li>Stochastic programming<\/li><li>Robust and distributionally robust optimisation<\/li><li>Simulation\u2013optimisation<\/li><li>Reinforcement learning and approximate dynamic programming<\/li><li>Combinatorial optimisation under uncertainty<\/li><li>Data-driven optimisation and machine learning integration<\/li><li>Computational methods and software for optimisation<\/li><li>Applications in energy, transportation, finance, healthcare, supply chains, and beyond<\/li><\/ul><h4><strong>Format<\/strong><\/h4><ul><li>Duration: <strong>2 to 3 hours<\/strong><\/li><li>Format: Lecture-style, hands-on, or hybrid<\/li><li>Tutorials may include practical components (e.g. coding demonstrations)<\/li><\/ul><h4><strong>Submission Guidelines<\/strong><\/h4><p>Please send your proposal to <span>the conference email address\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"mailto:ecsocms@lancaster.ac.uk\">ecsocms@lancaster.ac.uk<\/a>. The proposal should include:<\/p><ul><li>Title of the tutorial<\/li><li>Names, affiliations, and contact details of the presenter(s)<\/li><li>A description of the topic and its relevance (max. 1 page)<\/li><li>Target audience and prerequisite knowledge<\/li><li>Outline of the content and structure<\/li><li>Preferred duration<\/li><li>Any technical requirements<\/li><\/ul><h4><strong>Evaluation Criteria<\/strong><\/h4><p>Proposals will be evaluated based on:<\/p><ul><li>Relevance to the conference themes<\/li><li>Clarity and accessibility<\/li><li>Expected interest to participants<\/li><li>Balance between theory and application<\/li><\/ul><h4><strong>Important Dates<\/strong><\/h4><ul><li><strong>Submission deadline:<\/strong> 15 Dec 2026<\/li><li><strong>Notification of acceptance:<\/strong> 14 Jan 2027<\/li><\/ul><h4><strong>Additional Information<\/strong><\/h4><p>At least one presenter of each accepted tutorial must register for the conference and attend in person.
