The conference will be held at the\u00a0Lancaster University Management School (LUMS), which is quadruple-accredited, typically ranked among the UK\u2019s top ten business schools. In the latest assessment of British higher education institutions (REF 2021), LUMS was ranked top business school in the UK for ‘research power’ and \u2018research environment\u2019.<\/p>

The Department of Management Science is one of the best-known, largest and longest established centres for Operational Research and Systems Thinking in Europe, going back to the 1960s. In the latest QS Rankings by Subject 2026, Lancaster is ranked 8th<\/sup> in the UK and in the top 100 in the world for Statistics and Operational Research.<\/p>
