Pets of LAEL – Humbug

Welcome back to pets of LAEL, this week we have the lovely Humbug. Humbug belongs to one of our phonetics PhD students, Pam.

Pam and Humbug selfie!

Pam and her husband Paul adopted Humbug from Cats Protection in October 2018 when he was just 12 weeks old! He was really small kitten but is now nearly 5 and weighs around 6 kilos!  The vet says he’s not fat, just big (honestly)!

Helpfully laying across the desk when I’m trying to work…..!

Humbug’s favourite things are eating (fish is his favourite), sleeping on his cat tree bed in the sun, playing with his many toys, sleeping in boxes, and catching the odd spider that has the misfortune to come in!  He’s full of mischief and is always up to something he shouldn’t be! He’s also taken to “helping” me with my PhD……. #AdoptDontShop

Told you he loves boxes!

We love you Humbug! #petsoflael.
