The World Health Organisation (WHO) has just published its first global report on Artificial Intelligence (AI) in health
The report is titled: Ethics and governance of artificial intelligence for health: WHO guidance
It identifies the following key ethical principles for the use of AI for health:
- Protecting human autonomy
- Promoting human well-being and safety and the public interest.
- Ensuring transparency, explainability and intelligibility.
- Fostering responsibility and accountability.
- Ensuring inclusiveness and equity.
- Promoting AI that is responsive and sustainable.
