In this work we propose to take advantage of strong light-matter coupling, circular-symmetric confinement, and transverse-electric transverse-magnetic splitting to exploit states where these two degrees of freedom are combined. By considering, as an example, the case of semiconductor polariton systems, we first demonstrate full ultrafast Stark control of spin-orbit coupled states, and then demonstrate the accumulation of Berry phase during a manipulation along a closed path in the parameters space.

Group meetings on Fridays 11:00-12:00 Here’s the timetable of the talks for the current term. Also, there are weekly condensed matter seminars at 3pm on Fridays, which will be interesting for anyone attending our group meetings. More information about these is coming soon.
