We want to celebrate all that the Act brings to social work practice including greater control, human rights and even the opportunity to make decisions that may seem unwise to may. The MCA enhances lives, changes lives and even saves lives when it is applied properly. We have put together a compilation of all the easy read summaries of our reports and articles that we have published so far this year because we think it is important that everyone gets to read about what we find out in our research and teaching. We hope this will help people live the lives the want to and support good professional practice. We have called the compilation <em><a href=\"http:\/\/wp.lancs.ac.uk\/cedr\/files\/2017\/09\/H-is-for-happiness-2017.pdf\">H is for Happiness and Human Rights<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>[pdf file]<em>.<\/em>\u00a0We did this because the Adult Principal Social Worker Network is asking people to identify their A-Z of the Mental Capacity Act.
