Contributions might address, but certainly do not need to be limited to, the following areas:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list has-medium-font-size\">\n<li>academic, scientific, technological and medical discourse(s);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>comparative studies;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>discourse(s) and identities;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>discourse(s) in language acquisition, language learning and teaching;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>discursive and\/or language change over time (including historical analyses);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>discourse(s) and social issues (e.g., health, the environment, gender and sexuality, technology, politics and polycrises);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>figurative language in discourse (e.g. metaphor, metonymy, irony);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>institutional discourse(s);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>intercultural discourses;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>language ideology and policy;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>media, social media, new media and hybrid text types;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>methodological innovations in corpus and discourse analysis approaches;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>multimodality and corpora;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>reflective contributions on the assumptions, practices, ethical dilemmas and implications of corpus and discourse analysis research;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>corpus stylistics and literary discourse;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>translation studies and discourse(s).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-color has-link-color has-large-font-size wp-elements-baf5c88385da25c31ef5eb4fdd630d17\" style=\"color:#a30101\"><strong>Submission information:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">As this is an in-person only conference, all presenting participants must <strong>attend the conference in person<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Oral presentations<\/strong>&nbsp;should present research that is either completed or that is ongoing with some substantial results.&nbsp;Research that is a<strong> work in progress<\/strong>&nbsp;and that is yet to yield substantial results is welcome in the form of a <strong>poster presentation<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Oral presentations will consist of a&nbsp;20-minute talk followed by&nbsp;5 minutes for questions and discussion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">For oral\/poster presentations, please submit an unstructured abstract of up to <strong>4000 characters<\/strong> (including references).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">All abstracts should be submitted via this form: <a
