Our first phase of the Turing Speech Editions is found in HackaCon, our conversational hackathon exploring the state of the art in creating AI-generated conversation. Like most of our projects, the question behind HackaCon is simple:

Can we use AI to convincingly synthesise a natural, spontaneous-sounding human conversation between two specific speakers?
