In recent years, the country is actively developing its blue economy policies and plans to boost economic growth. For the first time since its independence in 1945, the Indonesian government published the national<a style=\"color: #333333\" href=\"https:\/\/www.informea.org\/fr\/content\/legislation\/indonesian-ocean-policy\"> Ocean Policy<\/a> in 2017 and most recent the <a style=\"color: #333333\" href=\"https:\/\/perpustakaan.bappenas.go.id\/e-library\/file_upload\/koleksi\/migrasi-data-publikasi\/file\/Unit_Kerja\/Dir%20Industri%2C%20Ekonomi%20dan%20Kreatif\/Dummy_Indonesia%20Blue%20Economy%20Roadmap_Ebook.pdf\">country\u2019s Blue Economy Roadmap<\/a> in 2023. These documents outline a range of business prospects throughout the archipelagic coasts and waterways across crucial and often competing fields including industry, tourism, logistics, and marine living and non-living resources.
