Life beyond Lancaster Environment Centre
After completing her Physical Geography degree, Nicola took some time out to relax and decide her next steps. She then returned to Lancaster to undertake an internship with LEC as a Careers and Alumni Support Officer. Following this, she has successfully secured a full-time role as a recruitment, conversion and marketing coordinator (RCM).
Rosie has an interesting and varied career in wind power. For the last three years she have been working on the Neart na Gaoithe Offshore Wind Farm as an Environment Manager with Mainstream Renewable Power.
Third year BSc Earth and Environmental Science (study abroad) student Hannah Rodger has just completed a summer Volcanology Internship at the Centro de Intercambio e Investigación en Vulcanología, Colima, Mexico. Read about Hannah’s experience and how she found out about it here.
Jenny, who spent the second year of her degree in Oregon, USA, is now in her third year of PhD at the British Antarctic Survey.
Daniel is now a Chartered Accountant and Tax Adviser for KPMG, one of the global big four accountancy firms, in the beautiful capital of Scotland, Edinburgh.
