Molly loved her time at Lancaster, so much in fact that she chose to extend her three year undergraduate course to a four year postgraduate course, highlighting the variety of modules available and the plethora of field trips as highlights. Adam was unsure of what he wanted to do post-graduation, but the opportunity arose via his network to work for an innovative energy firm, a decision on which he has not looked back on since. Sarah chose to study at Lancaster because of the Environment Centre, and she mostly enjoyed the filed trips offered by the university, which allowed her to put into practice the practical skills and knowledge that she acquired. Beyond academics, Sarah was also a student ambassador, and volunteered for the Nightline service, interacting with new people regularly and making a plethora of long-term friendships.

Gwyn was attracted to studying at Lancaster due to its balance between city and campus, providing the best of both worlds. Whilst studying, Gwyn enjoyed expanding his skill-set, particularly learning how to use GIS, whilst his project and time management skills are essential to his current role as a Transport Planner.

After completing her Physical Geography degree, Nicola took some time out to relax and decide her next steps. She then returned to Lancaster to undertake an internship with LEC as a Careers and Alumni Support Officer. Following this, she has successfully secured a full-time role as a recruitment, conversion and marketing coordinator (RCM).
