Life beyond Lancaster Environment Centre
Ricardo’s particularly enjoyed the research environment at Lancaster University, with constant support from staff and friends made during his time in England, with his studies being furthered as a post-doctorate researcher at the University of Lisbon.
Lancaster’s study abroad in North America was a fundamental reason as to why Kristina chose to study at Lancaster. After living in Canada, and then completing her undergraduate degree in Geography, Kristina now works within the waste management sector, utilising the skills gained from her degree at Lancaster.
Completing both BSc and PhD Geography, Rebecca now works as an Editorial Assistant for the Journal of Experimental Botany (JXB), a leading plant science journal based at Lancaster University.
Undertaking his apprenticeship in carpentry with Guest Constructions Pty Ltd and attending TAFE NSW, Benj now lives in Australia!
Since graduating in 2012, Lara has gone travelling, completed a Masters and is currently in a role with Teach First. In the future, she looks to pursue Disaster Response/Humanitarian work.
Jenny, who spent the second year of her degree in Oregon, USA, is now in her third year of PhD at the British Antarctic Survey.
Daniel is now a Chartered Accountant and Tax Adviser for KPMG, one of the global big four accountancy firms, in the beautiful capital of Scotland, Edinburgh.
