What’s it like doing an environmental science PhD?

Former LEC PhD student Ben Langford describes his PhD research in the Amazon and Borneo in a blog post on his site. This is an excellent introduction on what PhD research – and science in general – is like, and definitely worth checking out if you’re considering this route.
